Description
These petroglyphs, from the Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal Utah, were chiseled into the rock by the Freemont Culture sometime between 200 & 1300 AD. The fate of the Fremont culture is unclear. Recent theories suggest that the Fremonts lifestyle may have changed resulting from drought or other climatic factors, dwindling natural resources, or the influence of other neighboring cultures.
