Description
Sort of creepy secular fresco on the ceiling. Many of the frescos here were inspired by the ancient Roman paintings that were currently being unearthed in the 1500s, in the ancient villas. The style was called "grotteschi" (Grotesque). We thought the bird poking the eye of the ram was pretty gross.
It was interesting how one room was full of secular artwork, and the next had religious pieces typical of the Renaissance.
