Description
Pleiades is an open cluster in Taurus that is surrounded by a reflection nebula. The 9 brightest stars of Pleiades are named for the Seven Sisters of Greek mythology: Sterope, Metrope, Electra, Maia, Taygeta, Celaeno and Alcyone, along with their parents Atlas and Pleione.
This was shot from the Lake Arrowhead State Park Campground, in our campsite facing away from Wichita Falls, Texas.
